December 11th Christmas potluck.

Season's Greetings,

“Time to carve your ornament for the ornament exchange."

Do your Christmas shopping at our carving meetings on Tuesdays, also at our Annual meeting.Their will be a table set up for anyone to sell items for Christmas gifts; so bring in your items to sell or show.

Coming up December 11th is our annual Christmas potluck and ornament exchange, at our regular meeting place at St. Timothy’s church hall at 962 Piney Way, Morro Bay.

Carving at 9:00 am, lunch at noon, meeting and ornament exchange after lunch.  Please bring a dish of your choice. We have ovens, microwave, and a refrigerator in the kitchen. The club will furnish beverages, cups and napkins, members are asked to bring their own dishes and utensils. As before, spouses and children are also invited.

All are welcome to bring something for our tables for show-and-tell, a craft, a hobby, anything of interest you would like to share with the rest of us, and a For Sale table, any carvings, wood, or tools for sale.

We will also have our ornament exchange. If you would like to participate, bring a hand-carved ornament in order to receive one. For the benefit of all the new members, upon arrival, you will give your ornament to the head elf (Pat Rygh), your ornament will be given a number then hung on our Christmas tree. After lunch, everyone who contributed will then draw a number.  Pat will chose an ornament from the tree and call out the number. The person who has that number receives that ornament.

After lunch, we will have a business meeting regarding activities for 2019 as well as suggestions that would enhance our club. We will be looking for suggestions for four workshops (one per quarter), also a subject for our carving raffle at our annual show and more. The annual election of officers for the following year will also be held.

2019 dues are due.  They are still only $10. Cash or a check payable to Central Coast Carvers should be given to Tom Nickelson, our Treasurer, to keep your active status on our roster.

Any thing I forgot let me know !!!!
